Palatine Pirates (Palatine, IL) followers exited the stadium in high spirits Thursday as they witnessed their lacrosse squad achieve victory over the visiting Schaumburg Saxons (Schaumburg, IL), 15-11 in a league battle.

The Pirates now have a 6-8 record. They take the field next when they host Prospect for a Mid Suburban battle on Monday, May 9. Palatine will clash with a Knights squad coming off a 12-8 non-league loss to Deerfield (Deerfield, IL). The Knights record now stands at 10-7.

In their next game, the Saxons clash with the Rolling Meadows Mustangs (Rolling Meadows, IL) in a Mid Suburban battle, on Monday, May 9. Schaumburg will attempt to move on its 3-12 season record. The Mustangs come into the battle with a 5-9 record after their 15-8 league loss to Hersey (Arlington Heights, IL).
