Maine High School Softball - Cape Elizabeth bounces Mt. Ararat
May 5, 2022: Topsham, ME 04086 Spectators at Thursday's non-league match between the Cape Elizabeth Capers (Cape Elizabeth, ME) and the host Mt. Ararat Eagles (Topsham, ME), witnessed Cape Elizabeth's softball squad tip Mt. Ararat by a count of 8-2.
The Capers now sport a 6-2 record. They play next when they host Greely for a Class B South match on Friday, May 6. Cape Elizabeth will face a Rangers squad coming off a 8-5 non-league win over Edward Little (Auburn, ME). The Rangers record now stands at 1-2.
With the loss, Mt. Ararat moves to 0-4 on the season. The Eagles host Bangor (Bangor, ME) to face the Rams in a Class A North match on Friday, May 6. The Rams go into the match with a record of 3-1.
