Fredericksburg Christian Eagles (Fredericksburg, VA) fans exited the stadium thrilled Friday as they observed their baseball squad overcome the host Blue Ridge Barons (St. George, VA), 5-2 in a non-league test.

With the win, Fredericksburg Christian upgrades its record to 6-13 on the season. The Eagles travel to Trinity Christian (Fairfax, VA) to battle the Gryphons in a non-league test on Tuesday, May 9. The Gryphons go into the game with a record of 9-5. Trinity Christian won 10-4 in their recent non-league game against Southern Maryland Christian Academy (White Plains, MD)

The Barons (6-6) will now prepare for their game against Covenant (Charlottesville, VA). The Eagles go into the non-league game with a 9-8 record. In their last game, Covenant tipped Fishburne Military (Waynesboro, VA), 12-2, in a league game.
