Edgewood Bulldogs (Edgewood, TX) fans exited the stadium thrilled Friday as they observed their baseball squad overcome the host Howe Bulldogs (Howe, TX), 8-3 in a non-league test.

With the win, Edgewood upgrades its record to 22-13 on the season. The Bulldogs travel to Scurry-Rosser (Scurry, TX) to battle the Wildcats in a non-league test on Saturday, May 13. The Wildcats come into the test with a record of 19-5. Scurry-Rosser won 6-2 in their recent non-league test against Pilot Point (Pilot Point, TX)

With the defeat, Howe falls to 7-12 on the season.
