Illinois High School Baseball - Glenbard South nudged by Glenbard West
May 5, 2023: Glen Ellyn, IL 60137 The Glenbard West Hilltoppers edged the visiting Glenbard South Raiders baseball squad by a final score of 3-2 in Friday's non-league challenge.
With the win, Glenbard West upgrades its record to 10-13 on the season. The Hilltoppers travel to Downers Grove South (Downers Grove, IL) to battle the Mustangs in a non-league challenge on Saturday, May 6. The Mustangs come into the challenge with a record of 17-5. Downers Grove South won 19-12 in their recent league outing against Hinsdale South (Darien, IL)
Next, the Raiders confront the Elgin Maroons (Elgin, IL) in a Upstate Eight outing, on Monday, May 8. Glenbard South will attempt to advance on its 13-13 season record. The Maroons go into the outing with a 1-16 record after their 14-0 league loss to South Elgin (South Elgin, IL).
