Cornwall Central Dragons (New Windsor, NY) followers exited the stadium in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their lacrosse squad edge the host Goshen Central Gladiators (Goshen, NY), 13-12 in a non-league test.

The Dragons now have a 5-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to Newburgh Free Academy for a non-league test on Saturday, May 6. Cornwall Central will face a Goldbacks squad coming off a 13-2 non-league loss to Chester (Chester, NY). The Goldbacks record now stands at 0-3.

In their next game, the Gladiators face the Middletown Middie Bears (Middletown, NY) in a non-league test, on Tuesday, May 9. Goshen Central will attempt to move on its 3-4 season record. The Middie Bears come into the test with a 1-8 record after their 9-0 non-league loss to Chester (Chester, NY).
