IC Catholic Prep Knights (Elmhurst, IL) fans were pleased Friday as they observed their soccer team knock off the host Riverside-Brookfield Bulldogs (Riverside, IL), 2-0 in a league challenge.

Next, the Knights confront the De La Salle Meteors (Chicago, IL) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, May 6. IC Catholic Prep will attempt to better on its 10-1 season record. The Meteors enter the challenge with a 11-3 record after their 4-2 non-league win over Saint Ignatius College Prep (Chicago, IL).

The Bulldogs now have a 14-5 record. They take the field next when they travel to St. Francis for a Metro Suburban challenge on Tuesday, May 9. Riverside-Brookfield will confront a Spartans team coming off a 6-1 league win over Bishop McNamara (Kankakee, IL). The Spartans record now stands at 9-4.
