Miramonte Matadors (Orinda, CA) fans exited the stadium thrilled Friday as they observed their baseball squad hold off the visiting Novato Hornets (Novato, CA), 6-5 in a non-league test.

With the win, Miramonte upgrades its record to 7-14 on the season. The Matadors host Concord (Concord, CA) to battle the Minutemen in a test on Tuesday, May 9. The Minutemen come into the test with a record of 4-13. Concord won 8-5 in their recent league test against Berean Christian (Walnut Creek, CA)
