New York High School Lacrosse - Grand Island can't get by Williamsville South

In Friday's league test, the host Williamsville South Billies lacrosse squad scored a tight 11-10 victory over the Grand Island Vikings.

The Billies now have a 6-5 record. They take the field next when they travel to Starpoint for a Class C test on Wednesday, May 10. Williamsville South will face a Spartans squad coming off a 17-7 non-league win over Lockport (Lockport, NY). The Spartans record now stands at 8-5.

In their next game, the Vikings face the Amherst Central Tigers (Amherst, NY) in a Class C test, on Wednesday, May 10. Grand Island will attempt to move on its 6-5 season record. The Tigers come into the test with a 8-4 record after their 18-2 non-league win over Sweet Home (Amherst, NY).
