The Holly Springs Golden Hawks (Holly Springs, NC) lacrosse triumphed over the host New Bern Bears (New Bern, NC), 18-7 in Friday's non-league outing.

With the win, Holly Springs upgrades its record to 16-5 on the season. The Golden Hawks travel to Cardinal Gibbons (Raleigh, NC) to battle the Crusaders in a non-league outing on Tuesday, May 9. The Crusaders go into the outing with a record of 17-5. Cardinal Gibbons won 11-3 in their recent non-league outing against Broughton (Raleigh, NC)

With the defeat, New Bern drops to 12-8 on the season.
