New York High School Softball - Thousand Islands bounces Beaver River
May 5, 2023: Clayton, NY 13624 Thousand Islands Vikings (Clayton, NY) backers exited the stadium thrilled Friday as they saw their softball squad run past the visiting Beaver River Beavers (Beaver Falls, NY), 15-1 in a league challenge.
The Vikings now own a 10-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to South Jefferson for a non-league challenge on Thursday, May 11.
With the loss, Beaver River falls to 4-5 on the campaign. The Beavers host General Brown (Dexter, NY) to battle the Lions in a non-league challenge on Saturday, May 6. The Lions enter the challenge with a record of 7-3. General Brown won 8-2 in their recent league challenge against Lowville (Lowville, NY)
