New York High School Softball - Colonie Central gets by Shaker
May 5, 2023: Albany, NY 12205 Spectators at Friday's league match between the Colonie Central Raiders (Albany, NY) and the visiting Shaker Bison (Latham, NY), witnessed Colonie Central's softball squad tip Shaker by a count of 2-1.
The Raiders now sport a 14-1 record. They play next when they travel to Averill Park for a Section 2 Suburban - Blue match on Monday, May 8. Colonie Central will face a Warriors squad coming off a 15-0 league win over Schenectady (Schenectady, NY). The Warriors record now stands at 12-5.
With the loss, Shaker moves to 7-7 on the season. The Bison travel to Susquehanna Valley (Conklin, NY) to encounter the Sabers in a non-league test on Saturday, May 6. The Sabers enter the test with a record of 8-2. Susquehanna Valley won 13-1 in their recent league test against Norwich (Norwich, NY)
