New York High School Softball - Shenendehowa nudges Saratoga Springs
May 5, 2023: Saratoga Springs, NY 12866 Shenendehowa Plainsmen (Clifton Park, NY) backers exited the stadium thrilled Friday as they saw their softball squad nip the host Saratoga Springs Blue Streaks (Saratoga Springs, NY), 2-1 in a league challenge.
The Plainsmen now own a 7-6 record. They take the field next when they travel to Cicero-North Syracuse for a non-league challenge on Saturday, May 6. Shenendehowa will battle a Northstars squad coming off a 6-0 non-league loss to Chittenango (Chittenango, NY). The Northstars record now stands at 5-8.
With the loss, Saratoga Springs falls to 11-4 on the campaign. The Blue streaks travel to Liverpool (Liverpool, NY) to battle the Warriors in a non-league challenge on Saturday, May 6. The Warriors enter the challenge with a record of 8-2. Liverpool won 8-1 in their recent league challenge against Fayetteville-Manlius (Manlius, NY)
