The Williamsville East Flames (East Amherst, NY) baseball trounced the host Canisius Crusaders (Buffalo, NY), 11-3 in Monday's non-league challenge.

The Flames now own a 8-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to Starpoint for a ECIC II challenge on Tuesday, May 6. Williamsville East will clash with a Spartans team coming off a 6-2 league loss to Sweet Home (Amherst, NY). The Spartans record now stands at 1-7.

With the defeat, Canisius drops to 6-7 on the year. The Crusaders host Bishop Timon-St. Jude (Buffalo, NY) to clash with the Tigers in a Monsignor Martin challenge on Tuesday, May 6. The Tigers go into the challenge with a record of 6-6. Bishop Timon-St. Jude lost 4-3 in their recent non-league challenge against Griffith Institute (Springville, NY)
