Maine High School Baseball - Monmouth Academy loses to Cony
May 5, 2025: Monmouth, ME 04259 Cony Rams (Augusta, ME) followers left the game pleased Monday as they observed their baseball squad overcome the host Monmouth Academy Mustangs (Monmouth, ME), 11-0 in a non-league match.
With the triumph, Cony moves its record to 4-1 on the season. The Rams host Lawrence (Fairfield, ME) to battle the Bulldogs in a Class B North match on Friday, May 9. The Bulldogs come into the match with a record of 2-2. Lawrence won 4-1 in their recent non-league match against Erskine Academy (South China, ME)
The Mustangs now possess a 3-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Madison for a Class C South match on Wednesday, May 7. Monmouth Academy will battle a Bulldogs squad coming off a 14-0 league loss to Winthrop (Winthrop, ME). The Bulldogs record now stands at 3-2.
