In Monday's non-league game, the host South River Rams baseball team scored a nice 14-5 win over the Highland Park Owls.

The Rams (10-5) will now prepare for their game against Piscataway (Piscataway, NJ). The Chiefs go into the GMC - Blue game with a 6-11 record. In their last game, Piscataway knocked off Rahway (Rahway, NJ), 22-2, in a non-league game.

Next, the Owls play the Perth Amboy Vo-Tech Patriots (Perth Amboy, NJ) in a GMC - Gold game, on Wednesday, May 7. Highland Park will attempt to improve on its 2-13 season record.
