May 5, 2025: Kalamazoo, MI 49006 The Kalamazoo Central Maroon Giants (Kalamazoo, MI) baseball the visiting Plainwell Trojans (Plainwell, MI), 10-5 in Monday's non-league challenge.
The Maroon Giants now own a 12-12 record. They take the field next when they host Lakeshore for a Southwestern Michigan - West challenge on Thursday, May 8. Kalamazoo Central will clash with a Lancers team coming off a 3-1 non-league win over South Bend Saint Joseph (South Bend, IN). The Lancers record now stands at 13-3.
With the defeat, Plainwell drops to 11-11 on the year. The Trojans travel to Niles (Niles, MI) to clash with the Vikings in a Wolverine B challenge on Tuesday, May 6. The Vikings go into the challenge with a record of 14-2. Niles won 13-4 in their recent non-league challenge against St. Joseph (St. Joseph, MI)
