The Tawas Area Braves baseball team (Tawas City, MI), was overwhelmed 8-4 in Monday's non-league challenge with the visiting Oscoda Owls (Oscoda, MI)

The Owls now own a 1-5 record. They take the field next when they host Rogers City for a North Star challenge on Thursday, May 8. Oscoda will clash with a Hurons team coming off a 13-0 non-league win over Johannesburg-Lewiston (Johannesburg, MI). The Hurons record now stands at 11-4.

With the defeat, Tawas Area drops to 3-10 on the year. The Braves host Heston Academy (St. Helen, MI) to clash with the Patriots in a non-league challenge on Wednesday, May 7. The Patriots go into the challenge with a record of 2-5.
