Missouri High School Soccer - Kearney nudged by Pembroke Hill
May 5, 2025: Kearney, MO 64060 Pembroke Hill Raiders (Kansas City, MO) boosters exited the stadium thrilled Monday as they witnessed their soccer team get by the host Kearney Bulldogs (Kearney, MO), 2-1 in a league test.
With the triumph, Pembroke Hill moves its record to 10-2 on the campaign. The Raiders travel to Van Horn (Independence, MO) to meet the Falcons in a Class 3 District 8 test on Friday, May 9. The Falcons come into the test with a record of 14-4.
The Bulldogs now sport a 9-5 record. They take the field next when they host Excelsior Springs for a non-league test on Tuesday, May 6. Kearney will meet a Tigers team coming off a 2-1 non-league loss to Smithville (Smithville, MO). The Tigers record now stands at 5-8.
