Illinois High School Lacrosse - Waubonsie Valley drops to Andrew
May 5, 2025: Aurora, IL 60504 Andrew Thunderbolts (Tinley Park, IL) backers exited the stadium satisfied Monday as they saw their lacrosse team achieve victory over the host Waubonsie Valley Warriors (Aurora, IL), 13-8 in a non-league game.
With the victory, Andrew improves its record to 10-4 on the season. The Thunderbolts host Homewood-Flossmoor (Flossmoor, IL) to play the Vikings in a South Suburban game on Wednesday, May 7. The Vikings come into the game with a record of 1-12. Homewood-Flossmoor lost 10-6 in their recent league game against Minooka (Minooka, IL)
The Warriors now have a 4-11 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Naperville Central for a non-league game on Wednesday, May 7. Waubonsie Valley will play a Redhawks team coming off a 16-5 non-league loss to Hinsdale Central (Hinsdale, IL). The Redhawks record now stands at 6-8.
