Illinois High School Softball - Morrison bounces Annawan-Wethersfield
May 5, 2025: Kewanee, IL 61443 The Morrison Mustangs (Morrison, IL) softball routed the host Annawan-Wethersfield Titans (Kewanee, IL), 13-1 in Monday's non-league outing.
The Mustangs now sport a 12-4 record. They put it on the line next when they host Ashton-Franklin Center for a NUIC South outing on Tuesday, May 6. Morrison will encounter a Raiders team coming off a 13-2 non-league loss to Serena (Serena, IL). The Raiders record now stands at 2-24.
With the loss, Annawan-Wethersfield moves to 11-15 on the season. The Titans host Galva (Galva, IL) to encounter the Wildcats in a Lincoln Trail outing on Tuesday, May 6. The Wildcats come into the outing with a record of 3-11. Galva lost 22-0 in their recent league outing against Biggsville West Central (Biggsville, IL)
