The AuSable Valley Patriots softball squad (Clintonville, NY), was edged 11-10 in Monday's league contest with the host Peru Nighthawks (Peru, NY)

With the triumph, Peru improves its record to 6-4 on the year. The Nighthawks travel to Ticonderoga (Ticonderoga, NY) to face the Sentinels in a Section 7 Champlain Valley I contest on Tuesday, May 6. The Sentinels enter the contest with a record of 8-0. Ticonderoga won 3-0 in their recent league contest against Beekmantown (Plattsburgh, NY)
