Brunswick Dragons (Brunswick, ME) fans exited the stadium thrilled Thursday as they saw their softball squad nip the visiting Lincoln Academy Eagles (Newcastle, ME), 5-3 in a non-league challenge.

The Dragons now sport a 3-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to Greely for a non-league challenge on Saturday, May 8.

With the loss, Lincoln Academy falls to 0-2 on the campaign. The Eagles travel to Belfast (Belfast, ME) to face the Lions in a non-league challenge on Friday, May 7. The Lions enter the challenge with a record of 1-9.
