In Friday's non-league battle, the visiting Glenbard West Hilltoppers volleyball team scored a tight 2-1 triumph over the Maine South Hawks.

The Hilltoppers (28-1) will now prepare for their battle against Glenbrook North (Northbrook, IL). The Spartans come into the non-league battle with a 20-3 record. In their last battle, Glenbrook North nudged Lake Forest (Lake Forest, IL), 2-0, in a non-league battle.

Next, the Hawks clash with the Stevenson Patriots (Lincolnshire, IL) in a non-league battle, on Saturday, May 7. Maine South will attempt to advance on its 17-11 season record. The Patriots come into the battle with a 27-3 record after their 2-0 non-league win over Hersey (Arlington Heights, IL).
