May 6, 2022: Lincolnshire, IL 60069 The crowd at Friday's league test between the Stevenson Patriots (Lincolnshire, IL) and the visiting Lake Zurich Bears (Lake Zurich, IL), saw Stevenson's soccer squad knock off Lake Zurich by a count of 4-1.
The Patriots now hold a 13-1 record. They play next when they host Libertyville for a North Suburban - Lake test on Monday, May 9. Stevenson will meet a Wildcats squad coming off a 6-0 non-league win over Vernon Hills (Vernon Hills, IL). The Wildcats record now stands at 12-2.
With the loss, Lake Zurich drops to 9-6 on the season. The Bears host Waukegan (Waukegan, IL) to meet the Bulldogs in a North Suburban - Lake test on Monday, May 9. The Bulldogs come into the test with a record of 8-7. Waukegan 1-1 in their recent non-league test against Indian Trail (Kenosha, WI)
