New York High School Lacrosse - West Babylon drops to Greenport-Southold-Mattituck
May 6, 2022: West Babylon, NY 11704 Greenport-Southold-Mattituck Porters (Greenport, NY) followers exited the stadium in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their lacrosse squad achieve victory over the host West Babylon Eagles (West Babylon, NY), 10-4 in a non-league battle.
The Porters now have a 8-5 record. They take the field next when they host East Islip for a non-league battle on Monday, May 9. Greenport-Southold-Mattituck will clash with a Redmen squad coming off a 13-2 non-league loss to Mount Sinai (Mount Sinai, NY). The Redmen record now stands at 8-5.
In their next game, the Eagles clash with the Westhampton Beach Hurricanes (Westhampton Beach, NY) in a non-league battle, on Monday, May 9. West Babylon will attempt to move on its 8-6 season record. The Hurricanes come into the battle with a 9-5 record after their 8-6 league win over Islip (Islip, NY).
