In Friday's league test, the host Lynnfield Pioneers lacrosse squad scored a tight 10-3 victory over the Manchester Essex Hornets.

The Pioneers now have a 7-3 record. They take the field next when they travel to Hamilton-Wenham Regional for a Cape Ann test on Tuesday, May 10.

In their next game, the Hornets face the Newburyport Clippers (Newburyport, MA) in a Cape Ann test, on Tuesday, May 10. Manchester Essex will attempt to move on its 3-6 season record. The Clippers come into the test with a 7-2 record after their 16-2 non-league loss to Norwell (Norwell, MA).
