Alaska High School Soccer - Juneau-Douglas trounced by South Anchorage
May 6, 2022: Anchorage, AK 99516 In Friday's non-league battle, the host South Anchorage Wolverines soccer squad scored a close 6-0 win over the Juneau-Douglas Crimson Bears.
The Wolverines (6-1) will now prepare for their test against Bettye Davis East Anchorage (Anchorage, AK). The Thunderbirds come into the Cook Inlet test with a 0-8 record. In their last test, Bettye Davis East Anchorage was overwhelmed by West Anchorage (Anchorage, AK), 8-1, in a league test.
With the loss, Juneau-Douglas drops to 4-1 on the season. The Crimson bears travel to Thunder Mountain (Juneau, AK) to meet the Falcons in a Southeast test on Tuesday, May 17. The Falcons come into the test with a record of 3-4.
