Washington High School Softball - Anacortes knocked off by Nooksack Valley
May 6, 2022: Everson, WA 98247 In Friday's league contest, the Nooksack Valley Pioneers (Everson, WA) softball team overwhelmed the visiting Anacortes Seahawks (Anacortes, WA), by a margin of 10-0.
With the triumph, Nooksack Valley moves its record to 15-0 on the year. The Pioneers travel to Sehome (Bellingham, WA) to play the Mariners in a 1A/2A/3A Northwest contest on Tuesday, May 10. The Mariners come into the contest with a record of 2-10. Sehome lost 6-4 in their recent league contest against Lynden (Lynden, WA)
In their next game, the Seahawks play the Sedro-Woolley Cubs (Sedro-Woolley, WA) in a 1A/2A/3A Northwest contest, on Tuesday, May 10. Anacortes will attempt to move on its 7-7 season record. The Cubs come into the contest with a 15-1 record after their 19-8 league win over Squalicum (Bellingham, WA).
