Corner Canyon Chargers (Draper, UT) backers exited the stadium thrilled Friday as they saw their softball squad nip the visiting Hillcrest Huskies (Midvale, UT), 7-6 in a non-league challenge.

The Chargers now own a 4-15 record. They take the field next when they travel to Alta for a non-league challenge on Monday, May 9. Corner Canyon will battle a Hawks squad coming off a 18-15 league win over Timpview (Provo, UT). The Hawks record now stands at 10-12.

With the loss, Hillcrest falls to 8-16 on the campaign.
