Illinois High School Baseball - Chicago University loses to Crystal Lake South
May 6, 2023: Chicago, IL 60637 In Saturday's non-league game, the visiting Crystal Lake South Gators baseball team scored a tight 9-5 victory over the Chicago University Maroons.
The Gators (18-5) will now prepare for their game against Prairie Ridge (Crystal Lake, IL). The Wolves go into the Fox Valley - Valley game with a 10-17 record. In their last game, Prairie Ridge was overwhelmed by Lake Forest (Lake Forest, IL), 7-6, in a non-league game.
The Maroons (10-7) will now prepare for their game against North Shore Country Day (Winnetka, IL). The Raiders go into the Independent School game with a 6-8 record. In their last game, North Shore Country Day was overwhelmed by Payton College Prep (Chicago, IL), 5-3, in a non-league game.
