Discovery Canyon Thunder (Colorado Springs, CO) fans exited the stadium thrilled Saturday as they observed their baseball squad overcome the host Doherty Spartans (Colorado Springs, CO), 14-4 in a non-league test.

With the win, Discovery Canyon upgrades its record to 11-9 on the season. The Thunder host Pueblo South (Pueblo, CO) to battle the Colts in a non-league test on Monday, May 8. The Colts come into the test with a record of 11-8. Pueblo South won 4-2 in their recent league test against Pueblo East (Pueblo, CO)

With the defeat, Doherty falls to 8-12 on the season. The Spartans host Fountain-Fort Carson (Fountain, CO) to battle the Trojans in a 5A CSML test on Tuesday, May 9.
