May 6, 2023: Heyworth, IL 61745 Lincoln Railsplitters (Lincoln, IL) fans exited the stadium thrilled Saturday as they observed their baseball squad hold off the host Heyworth Hornets (Heyworth, IL), 6-5 in a non-league test.
With the win, Lincoln upgrades its record to 15-10 on the season. The Railsplitters travel to Rantoul (Rantoul, IL) to battle the Eagles in a non-league test on Monday, May 8. The Eagles come into the test with a record of 6-16. Rantoul lost 10-2 in their recent non-league test against Herscher (Herscher, IL)
