Ohio High School Baseball - Licking Valley loses to Waynedale
May 6, 2023: Apple Creek, OH 44606 In Saturday's non-league game, the host Waynedale Golden Bears baseball team scored a tight 7-2 victory over the Licking Valley Panthers.
The Golden Bears (14-7) will now prepare for their game against Hiland (Berlin, OH). The Hawks go into the non-league game with a 17-1 record. In their last game, Hiland tipped Tuscarawas Valley (Zoarville, OH), 10-0, in a league game.
The Panthers (11-7) will now prepare for their game against Newark Catholic (Newark, OH). The Green Wave go into the Licking County game with a 14-5 record. In their last game, Newark Catholic was overwhelmed by Mt. Vernon (Mt. Vernon, OH), 11-3, in a non-league game.
