Spectators at Saturday's non-league battle between the New Castle Trojans (New Castle, IN) and the host Tri Titans (Straughn, IN), saw New Castle's baseball squad knock off Tri by a count of 11-8.

Coming up next, the Trojans play the Shelbyville Golden Bears (Shelbyville, IN) in a Hoosier Heritage battle, on Tuesday, May 9. New Castle will attempt to move on its 4-12 season record. The Golden Bears enter the battle with a 9-11 record after their 5-4 non-league loss to Batesville (Batesville, IN).
