New York High School Baseball - Ithaca holds off Binghamton
May 6, 2024: Ithaca, NY 14850 Ithaca Little Red (Ithaca, NY) fans exited the stadium thrilled Monday as they observed their baseball squad overcome the visiting Binghamton Patriots (Binghamton, NY), 7-3 in a non-league test.
With the win, Ithaca upgrades its record to 5-11 on the season. The Little Red host Johnson City (Johnson City, NY) to battle the Wildcats in a non-league test on Wednesday, May 8. The Wildcats come into the test with a record of 2-8. Johnson City lost 8-1 in their recent non-league test against Horseheads (Horseheads, NY)
With the defeat, Binghamton falls to 0-13 on the season. The Patriots host Union-Endicott (Endicott, NY) to battle the Tigers in a Section 4 Southern Tier - Metro test on Tuesday, May 7. The Tigers come into the test with a record of 3-6.
