May 6, 2024: St. Louis, MO 63130 The crowd at Monday's non-league test between the Festus Tigers (Festus, MO) and the host University City Lions (St. Louis, MO), saw Festus's soccer squad triumph over University City by a margin of 5-0.
The Tigers now sport a 8-4 record. They play next when they travel to Windsor for a Class 3 District 2 test on Tuesday, May 7. Festus will meet a Owls squad coming off a 5-0 non-league win over Affton (St. Louis, MO). The Owls record now stands at 17-2.
With the loss, University City drops to 4-14 on the season. The Lions travel to McCluer (Florissant, MO) to meet the Comets in a non-league test on Wednesday, May 8. The Comets come into the test with a record of 3-4. McCluer won 5-3 in their recent non-league test against Hazelwood East (St. Louis, MO)
