New York High School Lacrosse - Riverhead overwhelms Walt Whitman
May 6, 2024: Huntington Station, NY 11746 The Riverhead Blue Waves lacrosse team scored 12 points and held the host Walt Whitman Wildcats to 3 in the Blue Waves league win on Monday.
The Blue Waves (12-3) will now prepare for their game against North Babylon (North Babylon, NY). The Bulldogs go into the Section 11 I game with a 2-14 record. In their last game, North Babylon was overwhelmed by William Floyd (Mastic Beach, NY), 16-4, in a league game.
The Wildcats (3-12) will now prepare for their game against Longwood (Middle Island, NY). The Lions go into the Section 11 I game with a 8-5 record. In their last game, Longwood was overwhelmed by Northport (Northport, NY), 16-8, in a league game.
