New York High School Softball - Geneva topped by Greece Athena
May 6, 2024: Geneva, NY 14456 The Greece Athena Trojans softball team scored 21 runs and limited the host Geneva Panthers to 6 in the Trojans non-league triumph on Monday.
With the triumph, Greece Athena moves its record to 3-6 on the year. The Trojans host Eastridge (Rochester, NY) to play the Lancers in a Class A game on Wednesday, May 8. The Lancers come into the game with a record of 9-7. Eastridge lost 7-4 in their recent league game against Batavia (Batavia, NY)
In their next game, the Panthers play the Midlakes Screaming Eagles (Clifton Springs, NY) in a Finger Lakes East game, on Tuesday, May 7. Geneva will attempt to move on its 1-13 season record. The Screaming Eagles come into the game with a 14-3 record after their 2-0 league win over Palmyra-Macedon (Palmyra, NY).
