May 6, 2024: Peoria, IL 61603 The Peoria Christian Chargers (Peoria, IL) softball nipped the visiting Lexington Minutemen (Lexington, IL), 1-0 in Monday's non-league bout.
The Chargers (8-9) will now prepare for their bout against Delavan (Delavan, IL). The Panthers go into the Inter County bout with a 10-9 record. In their last bout, Delavan was edged by Princeville (Princeville, IL), 4-3, in a non-league bout.
The Minutemen now possess a 13-15 record. They play next when they host Warrensburg-Latham for a non-league bout on Wednesday, May 8. Lexington will confront a Cardinals squad coming off a 5-4 non-league win over Pana (Pana, IL). The Cardinals record now stands at 19-9.
