In Tuesday's league game, the visiting Westmont Hilltop Hilltoppers baseball team scored a close 3-2 win over the Bedford Bisons.

The Hilltoppers (8-8) will now prepare for their game against Central Cambria (Ebensburg, PA). The Red Devils go into the Laurel Highlands West contest with a 11-5 record. In their last contest, Central Cambria got by Richland (Johnstown, PA), 10-3, in a league contest.

The Bisons now possess a 9-6 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Bishop Carroll for a Laurel Highlands West contest on Thursday, May 8. Bedford will confront a Huskies squad coming off a 10-0 league loss to Chestnut Ridge (New Paris, PA). The Huskies record now stands at 2-15.
