New Jersey High School Volleyball - Sparta over West Essex
May 6, 2025: Sparta, NJ 07871 In Tuesday's non-league challenge, the host Sparta Spartans volleyball team scored a 2-0 victory over the West Essex Knights.
The Spartans (8-9) will now prepare for their challenge against Chatham (Chatham, NJ). The Cougars enter the NJAC challenge with a 5-9 record. In their last challenge, Chatham was beaten by Morristown (Morristown, NJ), 2-0, in a league challenge.
Next, the Knights meet the East Side Red Raiders (Newark, NJ) in a SEC - American challenge, on Wednesday, May 7. West Essex will attempt to upgrade on its 3-9 season record. The Red Raiders enter the challenge with a 2-12 record after their 2-1 non-league loss to Orange (Orange, NJ).
