Virginia High School Soccer - Gloucester knocks off Phoebus
May 6, 2025: Hampton, VA 23663 Fans at Tuesday's non-league battle between the Gloucester Dukes (Gloucester, VA) and the host Phoebus Phantoms (Hampton, VA), saw Gloucester's soccer squad prevail over Phoebus by a count of 4-0.
The Dukes (2-1) will now prepare for their battle against Kecoughtan (Hampton, VA). The Warriors enter the non-league battle with a 2-5 record. In their last battle, Kecoughtan tipped Denbigh (Newport News, VA), 4-1, in a non-league battle.
Next up, the Phantoms confront the Menchville Monarchs (Newport News, VA) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, May 13. Phoebus will attempt to better on its 4-4 season record. The Monarchs go into the challenge with a 4-1 record after their 2-1 non-league loss to Woodside (Newport News, VA).
