North Carolina High School Soccer - Central Academy knocks off West Stanly
May 6, 2025: Monroe, NC 28112 The Central Academy Cougars (Monroe, NC) soccer overwhelmed the visiting West Stanly Colts (Oakboro, NC), 4-0 in Tuesday's league challenge.
The Cougars now hold a 9-12 record. They play next when they host Richmond for a non-league challenge on Wednesday, May 7. Central Academy will encounter a Raiders squad coming off a 2-1 non-league loss to Sun Valley (Monroe, NC). The Raiders record now stands at 8-11.
With the loss, West Stanly moves to 12-7 on the year.
