Illinois High School Soccer - Grant Community toppled by Lakes
May 6, 2025: Lake Villa, IL 60046 Lakes Eagles (Lake Villa, IL) boosters exited the stadium thrilled Tuesday as they witnessed their soccer team triumph over the visiting Grant Community Bulldogs (Fox Lake, IL), 7-0 in a league test.
With the triumph, Lakes moves its record to 11-2 on the campaign. The Eagles travel to Grayslake Central (Grayslake, IL) to meet the Rams in a Northern Lake County test on Thursday, May 8. The Rams come into the test with a record of 8-8. Grayslake Central lost 4-0 in their recent league contest against Wauconda (Wauconda, IL)
The Bulldogs (5-11) will now prepare for their contest against Grayslake North (Grayslake, IL). The Knights enter the Northern Lake County contest with a 8-3 record. In their last contest, Grayslake North held off Antioch (Antioch, IL), 6-3, in a league contest.
