May 6, 2025: Manhattan, KS 66502 The Manhattan Indians soccer squad scored 5 points and held the visiting Northwest Grizzlies to 1 in the Indians non-league victory on Tuesday.
The Indians now hold a 7-6 record. They play next when they host Hayden for a Centennial bout on Thursday, May 8. Manhattan will play a Wildcats squad coming off a 8-0 non-league win over Piper (Kansas City, KS). The Wildcats record now stands at 5-5.
With the loss, Northwest moves to 5-7 on the year. The Grizzlies host Washburn Rural (Topeka, KS) to play the Blues in a non-league bout on Thursday, May 8. The Blues go into the bout with a record of 10-1. Washburn Rural won 8-0 in their recent non-league test against Emporia (Emporia, KS)
