New York High School Lacrosse - Newburgh Free Academy overwhelms Albany
May 6, 2025: Newburgh, NY 12550 The Newburgh Free Academy Goldbacks lacrosse squad scored 14 points and limited the visiting Albany Falcons to 10 in the Goldbacks non-league triumph on Tuesday.
The Goldbacks now hold a 4-7 record. They take the field next when they travel to Monroe-Woodbury for a Section 9 Division I challenge on Tuesday, May 13.
With the loss, Albany falls to 2-9 on the year. The Falcons travel to Saugerties (Saugerties, NY) to clash with the Sawyers in a non-league challenge on Thursday, May 8. The Sawyers go into the challenge with a record of 9-4. Saugerties lost 12-6 in their recent non-league challenge against Averill Park (Averill Park, NY)
