May 6, 2025: Franklinville, NC 27233 The crowd at Tuesday's non-league bout between the East Rutherford Cavaliers (Forest City, NC) and the host Providence Grove Patriots (Franklinville, NC), observed East Rutherford's softball team get by Providence Grove by a final score of 8-1.
The Cavaliers (14-8) will now prepare for their bout against Mount Pleasant (Mt. Pleasant, NC). The Tigers go into the non-league bout with a 13-9 record. In their last bout, Mount Pleasant tipped East Gaston (Mt. Holly, NC), 7-5, in a non-league bout.
