The Hammond Central Wolves softball squad (Hammond, IN), was routed 17-4 in Tuesday's non-league contest with the visiting Washington Township Senators (Valparaiso, IN)

With the triumph, Washington Township improves its record to 6-7 on the year. The Senators travel to Kouts (Kouts, IN) to face the Mustangs & Fillies in a Porter County contest on Friday, May 9. The Mustangs & Fillies enter the contest with a record of 5-7. Kouts won 11-0 in their recent non-league contest against Bremen (Bremen, IN)

The Wolves now hold a 6-8 record. They play next when they travel to River Forest for a non-league contest on Friday, May 9. Hammond Central will face a Ingots squad coming off a 26-16 non-league loss to Merrillville (Merrillville, IN). The Ingots record now stands at 5-9.
