The Wren Hurricanes (Piedmont, SC) softball nipped the visiting Lancaster Bruins (Lancaster, SC), 5-4 in Tuesday's non-league outing.

The Hurricanes now sport a 14-7 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Pickens for a non-league outing on Thursday, May 8. Wren will encounter a Blue Flame team coming off a 4-1 league win over Berea (Greenville, SC). The Blue Flame record now stands at 16-1.
